13 of H’burg’s best braved this mild January morning to show up for a VQ workout.

Circled up for a quick warmup:

Arm Circles(Forward and Reverse) OYO

SSHx20

ISTx15

The group sounded off to form two different teams(Swami swooped in at the last minute to be included) for a little bit of Double Applesauce.  The group headed off toward Hickory Ridge Rd and the end runner on each team would stop and do a different exercise when it was their turn.  The rotation went like this:

1st turn: 10 merkins

2nd turn: 10 squats

3rd turn: 10 LBC’s

This went fairly smooth but the next part not so much……..This all made sense in the planning stages but didn’t come out so clear.

At four different islands in the lot the group did the following in a 5-10-15 circuit:

Sweat Angels

Prison Cell Merkin Burpees

Reverse Crunches

Prayer Squats

Between the longer spans the group would reverse run and between the shorter spans the group would walk bear.  At some point during the second rotation of walk bear YHC started to regret them but was just trying to keep Clueless and HKP in sight.

At this point circling up for Mary was necessary and it went like this:

Weezy Jeffersons

Superman

Pretzel Crunches

Flutter Kicks

Crunchy Frogs

Side Planks(both sides)

Boxcutters

COT

Moleskin:

Great job by all this morning and thanks for the patience and understanding as YHC stumbled through this.  I could hear some mumble chatter throughout but everyone kept moving.

Announcements:

Still some openings for BRR so get up with Hootie about this and get signed up!!!

  7. @Kojak great lead! Do they really do prison Merkins in prison? Regardless, love doing them in the early morning gloom. Sorry for my split second late arrival, never happens, really.
