- Why the Spooky Half-Mile? After working out at District 7 a few weeks ago, @Schedule C commented about how spooky the run down the dark bus road was, “You just expect someone or something to jump out of the woods and grab you at any time” (or something like that). @Poncho and I had a similar experience on our exploration beatdown of the AO, when we (well, me anyway) were startled by runners coming at us from the other direction. Those runners turned out to be our own shadows on the trees. @Escalade and I had our spidey-senses tingle when we heard strange noises in the woods during one beatdown. Thanks @Escalade for measuring the round trip journey of the bus road as just under half a mile (.45).
- @SS Minnow has the District 7 Q next week. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with.
Peace,
Deuce

@Deuce … good workout… the abyss merkin was a new, and tough, one for me….I don’t even think @Clueless has this one in his repertoire of merkins
Glad you liked it. It will be hard to replicate in most AOs. AOs with bleachers might be able to do it, but it will be considerably more difficult with the different heights of the benches.
Abyss merkins. Yes they were as tough as the name implies… Great lead and enjoyed the new twist. Well mostly. The cones on the foot was beyond painful. Haha
