It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…..

15 of Harrisburg’s strongest men braved the frigid “Christmas-like” temps (YHC saw 34⁰F on his iPhone) to better themselves and make them stronger.  Many came dressed in layers that were soon shed.  They now realized why a hearty few wore shorts – point noted for future frozen posts.

Since it felt a lot like Christmas, YHC celebrated the day with a Christmas Tree Style beatdown.  It went something like this…

The Thang
Weave through the parking lot near the stadium – High Knees/Butt Kickers, finish mosey in front of the High School entrance…Circle – up (x denotes cadence)
SSH x15
IST x15
Windmill x10

Mosey down the sidewalk to the back of the school, go into the center section and everyone find a  Picnic Table for a little Christmas Tree Beatdown.

2.  Those new to F3 can now see why we wear shorts during beatdown’s in 30 degree (or lower) weather.

Great work men! This cold weather brings back fond memories of the 17 degree day we had last year. Don’t let the cold weather keep you from posting! It just makes you stronger.

Thanks. Great workout and close out, @Othello. Really appreciate the support of the PAX. It pushed me through when I need to do so.

Great workout, @Othello. When guys start taking off the outer layer in 35 degree temps, you know you’re pushing the group.

Strong work by @DickTracy and @SockMonkey, who just kept pushing and never quit – definitely an inspiration for us all.

@Tumbler – for the record, I was 87 of 90 on the jump shots, and I was fouled by @HoneyDo on those three misses.

Thanks for the push guys… Won’t be long till I’m the one pushing the six instead of being the six needing a push!

Absolutely! We were all there at one point. It’s a constant cycle and this group continues to thrive because of new guys stepping up to lead, whether by leading a workout or simply pushing the pax. Keep digging!

Great job @othello! That was a real good one and I liked the quotes.

The workout seemed to fly by this morning. Probably a combination of the cold and trying to keep up with the pace of that ladder workout.

You haven’t joined the Twitter craze yet, have you?
