All All MECA Backblasts

September 8th, 2015 By escalade

14 men posted in the Gloom at Harrisburg today, including one FNG.

Warm Up:

Mosey to back of lot.

Mosey to other side of lot and gently weave through the lines of the parking lot.  Sundial started this and it’s still a fan favorite.

Mosey to far lot and line up for some easy going suicides.  run to each island and back, until we crossed the parking lot.

The Thang:

Everyone warmed up,  mosey to the wall and partner up.

Mosey to corner of lot.

Followed by another fan favorite brought to us by Constitution.  60 Seconds and gone.   Sprint to the far stop sign.

60 Seconds and gone back to where we started.

  1. Welcome out Torque Wrench FKA – Adam Renstrom.    Be very glad we did not try typing your name in a computer before todays workout!!!!   Every time I type Renstrom on the computer it auto corrects it to “Restroom.”    Still could be a name changer,  but Torque Wrench sounds cool.    Keep posting,  hope to see you back out soon.
  2. Thanks for allowing me to lead the group today.   I tried to dial it back a little for the BRR this week.  Hope everyone appreciated the easy day.
  3. Counter Top.    60 Seconds and gone,  You came out of nowhere and then added more gas at the end?!!   Crazy fast sprint brother…  crazy..

Have a blessed day!

  1. Great seeing everyone this morning. Thanks for putting up with my lead.

  2. Liked the variety @Escalade. Thanks for the solid lead!

Welcome out @TorqueWrench. Way to keep pushing out there. Look forward to seeing you out regularly.

  3. Nice Q @Escalade, like @Clueless stated – thanks for the lead and the change up of routine.

@TorqueWrench – welcome! It doesn’t get any easier but you WILL get stronger. See you at future posts.

Thought I had you @Countertop at the end of the sprint. You are quick. If @Clueless and @Escalade gave 100% I definitely would have been in the dust (#ironsharpensiron)

  4. Great lead this morning @escalade. Were you shooting from the hip the whole time? Felt like you were, but in a good spontaneous fast paced way.
@constitution where are you?…60 seconds and gone isn’t the same without you. Comeback!!!
@Othello was like the cartoon runners… A blur of feet and a torso. #roadrunner-show
@Restroom… I’m a fan of the double post before nickname for reason of rushing to name, but Torque Wrench is a good one. Keep posting!
