Cucumbers and Tabata!

18 Monsters Of MeCa converged on the Tradition AO to lift some Big Ole Metal balls(BOMB)!  YHC was a little nervous as Gentle Grizzly had delivered me a 50b kettle bell the day prior.  I was comforted by the fact that I had my 40lb’er hidden under a bush in the parking lot.  Well….I guess someone used my 40 on monday and didn’t return it to the same spot…..I was not able to find it and had to go through the whole workout with the 50…..oh well, I guess I am stronger for it.  I did notice that Mr Beldings bell is still the same size as it was 2 years ago……just saying…..

The tired and sore moleskin;

  1. YHC learnt a couple things this morning.  The most important being that a 50b kettle bell sucks!!
  2. The second being how much more I was pushed this morning by gong up 10 lbs in my bell weight.  Stop thinking about upping your weight, just do it!
  3. Great push by all this morning!  I saw no Jelly Lubing at all!
  4. Early October(maybe the 10th) will be the annual Beat Down, Chow Down at Tradition!  Guest Q’s are booked!!
  5. October 24th – The Leatherneck Mud Run!  The Superbowl of F3 events!

    Good workout, was hard to get those last reps in. Though I wonder if the lack of Mary will make Coyote Q us a punishment Mary filled day in the future again….

    Also, was that Walmart sale in bells still going? What ones were they? I tried to look it up last week and couldn’t find any. Briefly looked this morning and the only big deal I found before having to rush to work was a $19 25lb bell. I’m starting to feel like upping my weight to 30lbs.

        Uh oh, does it have to be 3 kettle bells? As in, I’m unable to just order a 30lb and pick it up?

            Farm, I could sell you the 35 I bought off Grizzly and then buy a 45 with this deal. But only if 2 others can go in with me.

    @Belding, if you are looking to upgrade I think I have a 20lber to sell you! You could try both a 20 and 25 to see what you’re more comfortable with. 😉

    That was a tough, great workout Dingo! I’m loving this kettlebell thing now that I’ve gotten into it. Yes, I need to up my weight Coyote. Maybe I can sell my 25 (and the used 35 I just bought from Gentle Grizzly) and buy a 45er.
    Looking forward to Qing my first KB workout on Monday!
