- A brutal #sweatfest out there. Thanks for not letting me do it alone
- Not sure how to Q a workout? Do a Google Search on “Body Weight WOD”. Pick three and modify from there. YHC chose the ROBERTS WOD for obvious reasons, but it requires two rounds.
- Misery Mile and the BLIMP Progression looked a lot easier on paper
- The DryPro boys looked strong out there. Sure would suck to have your Boss make you show up to a BeatDown, then have to spend all day with him at work too
- @Hacksaw gave it a ton of #NoQuit. You’ve come a long way over the last year man. Keep it up
- @Escalade was killing it out there today!
- Got a spot on the Time Lapse Team for someone who wants a little something extra
- Half Marathon/Marathon training for anyone who wants to join. I’m doing a #FattyFriendly run on Saturdays/Sundays
- Big Times at Coffee. Discussion on Frank From Ireland, @PapaJohn is a 1%er, Reminiscing of times when we went to the Movie Theaters, etc…
- Thanks for the medal @IvyLeague. Our events really are team effort, and I enjoy the opportunity to learn from planning the process. If anyone wants a real challenge, help us on our next one. I will show you the ropes, and you can plan your own.
A final thought. I recently noticed some chatter on Twitter regarding a themed Q hosted by F3 Princeton NJ regarding Pride Month. A member of another F3 group in Pennsylvania, took issue with it, because he felt that it “goes against the Christian Principles of F3.”
First and foremost, F3 isn’t a Christian organization. The call to Faith in a Higher Power can be to anything bigger than yourself. The fact that most of us default to Christian in our COT has more to do with Geography than it does with any mandate from the Leadership of F3. We’ve had Jewish, Muslim, Agnostic, and Atheist members in our ranks at one time or another. The COT has ended in prayers, poems, and/or personal reflection throughout our history.
Additionally, and most important, F3 is open to all men regardless of Race, Religion, Creed or Orientation. This diversity of thought makes us stronger and better leaders in the community.
There are several other organizations out there if you want to spend your time with “Like Minded People.” An observation? Those groups never seem to be doing anything great in their communities or their members lives.
