YHC let it be known on Monday that YHC would be leading the Dawgs in the gloom on Tuesday and that there was a special challenge for the pax that would determine YHC’s fate.  Since YHC has been rolling over must Tuesday’s on my hog, it made me wonder which group currently holds the most power… is it the runners (like in the good ole days), the ruckers (team dark side) or the bikers (the new guys in town).  YHC offered to join in with the group that brought out the most pax… so the pax controlled my destiny.  Which group was going to flex their muscles and show they were top Dawgs?

YHC rolled in on my hog with a ruck on back and running shoes in the sack, so YHC would be prepared to roll with which ever group of Dawgs stepped up with the best turnout.  As I coasted to a stop with a couple minutes to spare it looked pretty even at 1st glance, but upon a second look YHC knew the runners had proven what I already knew.  The Dark Side was not able to clone enough troopers to force YHC to ruck for the 1st time ever at the Dawghouse.  I gotta say, I thought the ruckers would make a stronger run at me, but I guess they knew better and ended up with just 3 in the gloom.  As for the bikers, this up and coming group also had 3, which was not too shabby.  They even pulled out Spauldini on his inaugural bike ride thru the hood this am.  The top dawgs of course were the runners, which were 5 strong before I threw in to make it 6.  Since the runners showed they were still top dawgs, YHC decided to let them get some flair by knocking out a Flair fun run.

I wish I could say it was smooth sailing, but the runners attempt to hijack YHC’s Q a couple times, but YHC has seen this before and got thing straightened out along the way.  I will not mention the names of those that tried to cause trouble (Hokie Pokie & Loveboat). In the end, the pax got in 4-6 miles and earned some nice flair to show off in zoom meetings today.
