Thirteen PAX, including a couple of first-timers, got their weekly red pill at the Pitchfork…
You know the main route, and you probably know the alternate routes by now as well. Just hit some hills for 45 minutes.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Need some Q’s on the Q sign-up sheet. Remember this F3 thing doesn’t work unless we all carry some of the load.
- Positive thoughts and prayers for @TeenSpirit, recovering from a torn achilles.
- Same for @BigBird (upcoming hip surgery) and @Birdcage’s dad, Alan (upcoming procedure to aid his COVID recovery).
MOLESKINE:
Good crowd today, with lots of variety. Two first-timers (@10-Cent and @Dud) got their introduction to the Pitchfork. Two Abbington locals (@TarTar and @PapaJohn) made the round trip on foot. Two Respects (@Bearclaw and @zaIvyLeague) showed out with awesome effort. @Oz came with a rucksack, @BanjoBoy with his 4-legged pacer. @Wexler and @Deadhead were steady as always. Three of the BRR team (@Bonvoy, @Birdcage, YHC) got in some relay prep – about 80 days til race day. We also were graced by the presence of a local legend (@Bull) at post-time. Superb efforts by all.
