1. Great work this morning. Lots of running; lots of reps and a decent amount of elevation. Throw in a little humidity, and it’s juuuust enough to make Solo Cup start griping. Just ask Lecter, who threw a little shade and immediately qualified himself to take over as Master Q, allowing Wexler to surpass Talladega as the shortest reigning MQ in F3 history…..if he’s willing to give up such power.

2. As I mentioned, took a little recon jog around the newer part of the park. Looking great! And there is no one happier than Wexler about the future Theater in the Park, giving him a whole new batch of talent to exploit help grow to a successful acting career.

3. Tclaps to Kojak and Tumbler on the pre ruck and run, respectively. Naturally, Kojak still led the pack during the workout, and Tumbler was only slowed down by chili cheese fries and a burrito.

4. Anyone else notice Mullet pull in driving a ginormous pick-up truck? It’s like he’s been moonlighting as a park worker camped out at Stallings Road Park.

5. Looks like mileage was anywhere from DT at ~1.8 to Talladega and Kojak at ~3.5. Strong work by all!

6. Good work by Clueless, TBone, Espresso and SSMinnow getting in 6ish miles on their run. Strapless went for a few more and finished with a fly-by in the park, still smiling and looking completely fresh.

7. Coffeeteria never disappoints. Where else would you hear someone (Solo Cup) ask “Dude, do you follow Steak-Umms on Twitter?” We also learned that AJs has a stone cold delivery driver, and the inspiration behind many 80s and 90s hair band songs. Also discovered that the interwebs knows everything you could ever wonder about. Some good conversation about future races as well, including The Purge and Zombie Chase, both of which may or may not include machetes and those inflatable baseball bats.

8. In terms of upcoming events, only the Spartan Race was mentioned, but that’s only for the most elite athletes among us.

9. Sign-up Genius has been updated through May, so start claiming your spots.

Cheers!
