Jaunt Around The ‘Burg
All Harrisburg BackblastsJanuary 20th, 2021
Fourteen of Harrisburg’s most “able to get out of bed when it is still dark outside” converged on Town Center to mosey around town in the unseasonably not cold weather. The routes were two modified versions of the bull run for each runner to choose from… 4 mile and 5 mile options. These looked like:

COT – Count, Name O Rama and Announcements
- There is still time to sign up for the Gremlin which is coming up on Jan 30
- There are still a few spots open (7 as of the time of this post) for No Repeat Q February so hurry to reserve your spot by signing up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0945afa92ea1f94-f3harrisburg
- Extinction Run moved to March 20th
- Prayers for those struggling with illness, poverty, hunger and homelessness.

Thanks all for allowing me to “lead” this morning’s run from the back of the group. I like this route a lot as it gets most of the hill work out of the way at the beginning when a runner has the most energy and then let’s him recover and then speed up over the second half of the route to make good time. Every time I Q I find something I can work on… today’s was being better prepared during the prayer portion of the COT. @DrLecter helped me come up with the good idea of cliff notes for next time. I’ll have my index card with bullet points ready for February. Great to see @Hammerhead back out running with us and killing it. Good luck to Gamma, Deadhead and the rest of the crew training to tackle this year’s aptly named Idiot Run. 🙂
