F3-Kannon@TheMill – And the Band Played On…

All Kannon Backblasts

September 6th, 2017 By Cupid

Kannapolis wakens to a new noise from the Gloom as 15 pax came out to eat the frog.
Here’s what went down:
Mosey over to the loop across from Village Park.
Grab a drainage rock as a companion.
Drop down into the bowl where the amphitheater resides.

COP: SSH 20X
Hillbillies 15X
Mountain Climbers 15X
Windmills 15X
Da Thang:
Jacob’s Ladder on hill – Half of us took our rocks to the top of the hill while the other half remained at bottom.
Overhead Press at top, curls at bottom.
Pax switch up/down hill between every set
increase by 2 reps from 2 to 12. each pax did 2 curls & 2 presses, 4 curls & 4 presses, etc – up to 12
Take rocks to amphitheater stage.
One pax does 20 sit-ups with rock while other pax stands on sitter-upper’s toes and does 20 skull crushers.
switch.
Quadrophilia with rock back up hill and put them away.
Mosey to Rite-Aid where delivery area has great hand rails to hang from.
Hang from rails and do 15 leg lifts (bring both knees to chest)
Climb over rail and on other side, do 15 Decline Merkins.
Mosey back to Mary.

Mary:
LBC’s 20X
Core Killers 10X

Naked Man Moleskins:
Great turnout for our first wednesday beatdown.
Should have told pax to grab “two-handed” rocks to up the pain. Some were denied their right to reach exhaustion.
Rocks are kind of hard to see in the dark.
The hill is decently steep and some tread is necessary, but only the Q took a tumble as far as I saw.
Amphitheater will work well in the rain if the run to that location is good. There is another amphitheater back near the GEM
if you take a pass on the run.

Thanks to all the guys who posted – that’s what keeps us coming back.
Always an honor,
Cupid
