Threepeat
All All MECA BackblastsMay 10th, 2017
As the RS daily/weekly number of PAX continues to decline, we were back to the three regulars for today’s installment of the Satisfaction Cruise. it was a nice cool morning with a bright moon to guide the way, so at 5:34 am the starting gun went off.
Simple route, OES to end of Greenway and back taking each of the cut outs both ways, then left turn up the hill to the stop sign at Moss Plantation Avenue and back to OES. Rabbits were spotted on the Greenway and there was even a false snake sighting. There was some early F2 but that soon gave way to the sound of labored breathing.
The initial sub 8 minute pace for the first 1.5 miles or so took its toll on YHC, and therefore the last leg to the stop sign was cut a little short (by the YHC only, the other two studs took it the distance). Nike running app shows the first 3.14m in 25:37 for an 8:09 pace, then the total run shows 3.82m in 31:40 for overall pace of 8:17.

And some people actually claim to enjoy running!
Nice pace! I think you boys were the rabbits out there! Maybe the false snake helped the pace a little!
Sorry I missed it. Every intention of being there. Lack of alarm clock decided otherwise. My slow, lonely run was no comparison.
The O2 capture certainly came with much labor this morning – may have had something to do with the 92% humidity, or maybe I was just being lazy. Thanks Sugar and Marie for your consistency.
tclaps to Sugar for his 18 miles at Time Laps!
I have seen evidence of Whatley’s EHing efforts and it’s scary. I’m glad he’s not after me. Who else is EHing? We need a fresh crop of 5 or so FNG’s. I think part of our issue is that we’re too evenly matched. A solid F3 AO has good a mixture of age and physical fitness, which allows an FNG to come in at whatever fitness level and see that he can fit in somewhere and he can grow.
EH, EH, EH!
Finishing off with a run up to Moss Planation and back was definitely the kicker. My Mind was used to being done at the Greenway entrance. A always, tough to get out and start but always feel better after!
Sparknut is right, EH EH EH. Gotta reach out to some of these ‘used to be’ regulars. There’s probably some who dont do the Slack thing so reach out to them. Accountability is our job.
Thanks for the route Marie – Well done.
