No lack of creativity here
All All MECA BackblastsFebruary 14th, 2017
10 PAX showed up to see what YHC had in store for them this morning. 4 did some sort of pre-run and a couple did a post run. Nice work fellas!
So, YHC is coming off a knee injury and was looking to test it a little this morning, so I came up with the one of the most creative workouts to ever grace the Tradition AO.
Start with a mosey around the parking lot and right back to where we started (see … creative … who does that?)
Warm Up with SSH, Tempo Merkins, Plank Jacks, Mountain Climbers, Windmills, Cotton Pickers
Mosey toward the haunted daycare with a stop at the wall for People’s Chair with 20 Air Presses IC.
1 to 5 ladder with Burpees at the bottom and … wait for it … Burpees at the top (mind blown … who does that?) Dutch took a moment here to complement me on my creativity, which was awfully nice of him so early in the morning.
Quadraphelia up hill, jog down x3
Bear Crawl up hill, jog down x2
Crawl Bear up hill, jog down x1
Mosey back towards Tradition with a stop at the wall for People’s Chair with 10 Air Presses IC
Find pre-placed traffic cone randomly (almost creatively) placed in the parking lot.
Do 5, roughly 40 yard sprints to sidewalk with a recover run/walk back to the cone
Mosey to cinder blocks and circle up for:
Curls, Shoulder Press, Chest Press, 5 Block Burpees, Run around Shovel Flag x2
Then the ultimate creativity of your Q came back at you, just when you thought you figured out the pattern and did:
5 Block Burpees, Chest Press, Curls, Shoulder Press, Run to shovel flag and stop (Whoa … creative!)
Partner up for a dynamic Mary
Partner 1 does ab exercise
Partner 2 laps 3 islands
Switch
We did LBC’s, Low Flutter, Pretzel Crunch, Dying Cockroach
COT
Announcements – Serving opportunity at Stonebridge – ask Dumphey
Moleskin
– Nice job out there today guys. Don’t know about you, but that was tough. My watch said about 2.3 miles during the bootcamp
– Buckwheat and Gentle Grizzly tried to get the Mumblechatter going, but it was a tough group. I am going to chock that up to the hard workout or the mindblowing creativity 🙂

Sound off below!
Is the daycare really haunted? Creepy.
Glad your knee is feeling better
Just out of business and now no exterior lights. It is creepy. But has a nice steep entryway.
Ah yes, thank you @astrovan – the beatdown was definitely demanding and creative! Ran all over the place and then – yes – very creative to get the cinder blocks and change the pattern of those exercises….
It is good to be understood. Thanks @Maximus!
A beatdown that truly redefined the meaning of art!
And while I may have been a bit late for a pre-run…. @Seeker seemed to redefine the meaning of late! (Did he show up only post run?… or was his time off and he showed up and did a post run for missing the beat down?)
Speaking for @seeker as I am not sure of his internet during the day – he posted at Precinct and then came to run a Tradition mile with yours truly (aka “post run”). @seeker is burning it up with multiple AO’s in one day!
He has dedication to the Maximus Cause!
@Seeker even had today’s beatdown at The Precinct named after him today! Check it – http://f3nation.com/2017/02/14/boxcutter-um-its-not-your-turn-seeker/
