Playing by prison rules now
All All MECA BackblastsDecember 22nd, 2016
Usually what YHC does when he has an upcoming Q is to check around the intranet to get some workout ideas. Here’s what I found and this is how the fun that went down.
Warm-up
IST
Tempo Merkins
Cotton Pickers(wait you guys don’t pick cherries off the ground??)
Shoulder tap Merkins
The Thang
Start at one burpee at the parking lot line and then move to the next line toward the football field and do two. This will continue until the next traffic island. Had to cut it short because apparently the parking lot was bigger than YHC had pictured in his head.
Teams of 3: One team member runs to the curb by Quadrephelia Hill and back while the other two team members do Booyah! Merkins. Continue until each team member runs twice.
Same as burpee deal earlier but do burpos instead and bear crawl between the parking lot lines.
Wheel of Merkin: Do 10 of each but run half way across the parking lot between each exercise.
Mary
Flutter kicks
Squirms(Dick Tracy)
W’s
Pretzel sticks(SS Minnow)
Count-off and Name-a-rama

–Clueless may need a replacement for his New Year’s Eve Q so get up with him if you want it.
COT
Moleskin
–YHC liked the chatter this morning but being put on the “no fly list” DT??? Really??? That’s a little harsh. Even though there was quite a bit of chatter everyone kept working and that’s what a Q likes to see.
–Even though there was a lot of chatter the only one YHC didn’t hear was the War Daddy. Minnow just comes out and works and the hip looks like it’s getting better.
–Biggest talker award? Had to be Flipphone. He was just non-stop and kept asking for more burpees.
–Finnegan and BurVegas pushed our triumvirate all the way through the Booyahs.
–Posh came in on fire apparently and expressed his true feelings for DT???? Kind of creepy and we’ll leave it at that.
–As usual this was all a breeze for Bull and Clueless. Clueless had a great idea for his next Q so it’s definitely something to look forward to.
–The burpee ladder was part of the Prison Burpee workout that I found.

Nice “gut check” this morning @Kojak! Thanks for the challenge!
Good lead @kojak! I know an over ambitious workout when I see one (done several myself). You’re just lucky @Tumbler wasn’t there or it would have been mutiny.
Chest is smoked from all the mercins. Good one today.
