- No Q, no problem. Good thing I’ve been reading the book Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. It’s a great read, so far, so give it a try. The main character is Louie Zamperini and his story is amazing, but even before he enters the war…..
- …..he set the California state high school record for the mile in 1936 at 4:21. Soooo, we had to see if multiple people running a single mile together could even come close to that record. Turns out the answer is no.
- Great work today by all trying to beat the record. 2 man teams finished around 5 minutes and the 6-man team at the end did 4:31. Still not fast enough to beat ol’ Louie.
- Thx for rolling with it on the fly. The cooler temp really helped with all the running. Shout out to Thorn and Chavez for tag-teaming the Q.
- It was great to see Red Rider back at Highlands! You are always welcome. Good luck starting an AO down in Hotlanta.
- Get together at the Clark Creeke pool later today.
- Have a great weekend and make the most of it.
Godspeed
-Pavarotti

Great spur of the moment Q Pavarotti. I have read the book and chasing that goal was inspiring. Missing it still leaves a bit yet to be accomplished. Maybe we’ll do it again sometime. aye!
