  1. I recently received two emails in my inbox with similar sentiments.  One was from our FNG, Shock Treatment, who said he was done with the excuses and procrastination, could I please send him our workout schedule, he was ready to get the lead out.  The other was from Ryan Michler, the founder of Order of Man, who is recruiting for his website’s initiative The Iron Council; the message was Complacency Kills: on the battlefield, complacency can literally get you killed, but in everyday life
    • Complacency KILLS the hearts and minds of men,
    • Complacency BANKRUPTS businesses,
    • Complacency WRECKS nations,
    • Complacency RUINS marriages,
    • Complacency DESTROYS wealth.

I think all of us who have come to F3 have discovered this in our own way, although we may not have known what to call it.  It is clear to me that Shock Treatment has discovered this, or else why would he have reached out to me out of the blue, months after seeing my post about F3.  I could see the determination in his eyes today, just like each of us have had on our first, most difficult post.  I have begun to think about where else in my life I have become complacent and how to change that. Where have you become complacent in your life?

  2. On a lighter note: Burger King is not as safe as Hardees/Carl’s Jr . . . just ask @Thick Burger.
  3. We had our first coffeeteria on home turf this morning.  The conversation was great and the opportunities for recruitment abound.  We left a few fliers behind. #2ndF
