After being repeatedly pressured into guest Q’g, YHC finally gave in (can’t handle but so many Tweets, texts & hints) & agreed. 5:27am- Sitting beneath the streetlights waiting on the Pax, a fatal flaw in the plan was realized. If the Davis Lake Pax was as tardy as their Master Q is rumored to be then this would definitely be a long morning.

Thankfully Piston showed up & then Farm rolled in so we could get going.

Warmup: Short Mosey, SSH, Plank Jacks, Hand Release Mericans, Various Stretches, Farmer (not that farmer) Carry KB’s over to launch point.

The Thang– partner up. P1 does exercise, P2 sprints 50 yards does Mericans then sprints back to swap. Circuit complete when # of KB reps reaches 500. Repeato as time allows.

The Actual Thang– odd man out so we had to go all threesome.

Set 1: Curls to #500, sprint, round the clock mericans, sprint. Repeat to #500.

Set 2: OYS Chest Press, *2 burpees, sprint, round the clock mericans, sprint. Repeat to #500. *At this point The Farm proceeds to say this was too easy, was for girls & the circuits were going by too fast. YHC took offense & added a two burpee penalty to leave launch point per sprint just to slow things down. Little did he know that burpees to The Farm really doesn’t move the difficulty needle, so fast we went with some burpees thrown in.

Set 3: Sumo Squat, 2 burpees, sprint, fast curb toe taps #10 each leg, sprint. Repeat to #500.

Walk KB’s back to cars

Mary: LBC w’ KB, Squirm (the right way), Reverse Crunch to SloMo Reverse Crunch to Homer to Marge, Plank Jack to Plank to Elbow Plank 5x

Moleskin:

Was different rolling into a foreign AO but worked out pretty good.

@Piston- you are an inspiration sir! Thanks for posting & for the hard work. I’m almost sorry for the sprints but those didn’t hold you back one bit!

@TheFarm- thanks for the push to come lead. I hate to hear leading KB’s is beneath you & that we were too slow today & that the workout was too easy but that just gives something to shoot for in the future!

As always, great 2nd F in smaller posts. Like F3 in general, it stretches you not only physically but socially & mentally. Can’t hide!

  1. Thanks for allowing me to lead this morning.

  2. Wow! Ribshack made up about 85% of this backblast! Especially the things he said I said and did! All I can confirm is that it happened and it was tough. I went shirtless around the M this morning and wore short sleeves to work after that beatdown!

I’m thinking we will see many variations of that in the future. Thanks to succumbing to the pressure Ribshack!
