Three’s a Crowd

All All MECA Backblasts

March 2nd, 2016 By SunDial

Three (and a half, including UCB’s dog Charlie) men ventured out on a nice morning run through the ‘Burg.

The thang:
Head down Main St, left on Hagler St, right on Carl Palmer, left on Ruckus Rd, cross over 49, head down the service road, continue on Shamrock. Right on Timberwood Dr (which turns in River Hills Dr), right on Whispering Oaks, left on Nancy Ln, left onto Pharr Mill Rd, left on Shamrock. Back down Shamrock, on the service road, cross over 49 onto Ruckus Rd, right on Carl Palmer, left on Hagler, right on Main St and back to home base.

We logged right at 4.5 miles.

Moleskin:
1. After all that chatter on Twitter, I was expecting more than 3! Especially since I was early and finished on time…expect pigs to fly later today!
2. Good conversation about the land and families of Harrisburg. Birdcage even added his affinity for yoga pants. #dontaskdonttell
3. Good run today – I enjoyed the slightly different route.

  1. Thanks for taking the lead here bud. Im not sure what prompted all the discussion either.

  2. Wish I would have made it out. I did the RFYL 5k last night and needed some rest this morning. I am finally recovering faster from these. 5k used to be a long run for me. Now it’s starting to be 5-6 miles. Thanks for stepping up to lead though. #AnotherTime

  3. Nice run. Enjoyed the family time
