Two Steps Forward, One Step Back
All All MECA BackblastsNovember 10th, 2015
7 of The Faithful posted for what started as a relaxing, mind-meditation session, but turned out to be more like just carrying around a bunch of heavy stuff. It went something like this:
Mosey down to cell block, and grab a cinder-block on the way (get well acquainted, you’ll be spending a lot of time together this morning…). Warm-o-rama with SSH, Windmill, Monkey Humpers, and Arm Circles.
The Thang: with Cinder-block, mosey along Saxonbury, going back and forth between the following stations (all exercises x20)
Kent Village: Mericans
Windy Meadow: Squats

The Moleskin:
- – Running with cinder-blocks is hard
- – Running up hill with cinder-blocks is harder
- – I’m glad that my yoga/zen-like demeanor as Q fools the pax into thinking they are engaging in an easy workout… I’m also glad that I already have a F3 name, or there’d be a lot of material to draw from there
- – Tough sledding out there today gents – I trust it will pay dividends physically and mentally today
- – APB for missing Prison Fruit. If you have seen him, or know of his whereabouts, contact the authorities.
- – Thoughts & Prayers with all the veterans this week, as they regularly run and live with heavier loads than what we carried today
- – Keep Hot Wheels & his mission team to Peru in your prayers as they depart on Thursday
AYE!

I love/hate me some Trail Mix Qs! As always, brother, very creative and very tough as well!
BTW, I checked in on Prison Fruit and he said some nonsense about needing to “catch up on sleep.” What is THAT all about?! #lamestfartsackexcuseoftheweek!
Looking forward to seeing many of you at the Men’s Retreat this weekend!
Really, he said he was “catching up on sleep”? Pretty lame in deed. You can sleep when you’re dead..in a coma.
Excellent workout! It was definitely one of the hardest I think we have done in a while.
