Arrived on site bright and early in the chilly gloom. Heatstroke pulled in fashionably late and all were present and accounted for and we got after it.

WARMUP:
Moseyed over to the Primary school parking lot ran around and did the usual warm up exercises.

THE THANG:
Grabbed cinder blocks and partnered up. P1 did the exercise while P2 ran the length of the parking lot then switch for 2 rounds each exercise. Squats, incline merkins, swings, overhead press, and curls for the girls.

Suicides, three sets of 10 and quadraphelia back. Merkins, squats, plank jacks, WWII.

Moseyed to front door of the school for some Can Cans and a burpee train.

Moseyed to the trail head. Ran to one flag do the exercise and back, then second flag, then to the bridge. Squats and lunges.

Lunge walk and Toy Soldiers across the bridge. Then we took a nature walk through the woods to the Harris Road lot in honor of the great Life Alert, which led to brief speculation that he may be a goldbricker. “I’ve seen a lot of spinals, Dude. This guy can walk!”

Guardian run back to the trailhead in honor of the Cleveland Guardians, who lost their undefeated season last night.

Normally I would never do this but decided to stop for Monkey Humpers for heatstroke just this once since he was on his best behavior this morning. Only one car came but turned before she could enjoy the show.

Stretched our legs a little bit and called it a day.

Me and Heatstroke bounced around some names for FNG Dan (my brother). Started off with some Major League themed ones. Then it came out that Dan’s real life nickname is Goose, so the Top Gun themes came into play. Heatstroke remembered Slider from Top Gun and the Guardians mascot is also Slider. So with the combination of Too Fun and Indians I mean Guardians, it had to be Slider.
