10 men gathered in the Stallings Park parking lot on a cold morning to roll the dice. Here’s how it went:
Warm-a-rama:
Mosey to the HYA rock.
- SSH
- IST
- Penny pickers
- Grandpa jacks
The Thang:
Starting with Uncle Floyd and continuing around the circle, roll the dice. Whatever number it lands on, do the following exercise for a full minute (with a 15 second break to allow for the next dice roll).
- (None, because as I realized late last night, you cannot roll a 1 with a pair of dice, but I can’t properly number this list without including something here)
- Burpees
- Upright rows
- Tricep extensions
- Goblet squats
- Overhead press
- Merkins
- Chest press
- Curls
- Sumo squats
- American hammers
- Outhouse curls
After everyone had rolled once, we ran to the HYA rock for a single burpee, and then started back over.
Observations:
- We were able to make it through 2.5 rounds.
- My research indicated that 7 is the most rolled number with a pair of dice, and that was certainly the case this morning. I believe 7 was rolled at least a half dozen times, maybe more.
- I believe every number was rolled except for 2 and 12 (although 2 was “manually” rolled by Othello). This aligns with my research which indicated that 2 and 12 are the least rolled number with a pair of dice.
Mary:
- Freddie Mercuries
- LBC’s
- Squirm
Announcements/Prayers:
- Mint Hill’s Gremlin will be February 14
- HRHS/HRMS Band’s mattress fundraiser scheduled for Sunday has been postponed. Date TBD.
- Continued prayers for those who are currently sick or suffering.
