WARMUP: Run to the top of the deck, via stairs, to see the gorgeous sunrise. SSH, IST, windmill, arm circles, merkins, mt climbers. Back down the opposite stairwell.
THE THANG: We moseyed around Kannapolis with various pain stations and ladders. Most included merkins. Stopped at the Armed Services circle in Veteran’s park first. Then to Dale. Then to the ballpark. Around the shoe and back to mary. We got a bit over 2 miles in. Saw Squid at coffee. He crushed the 5k. Great job! Also saw Snowman. Heal up soon and get back out there! Was also a G Vegas sighting. He ran the 5k in 22 minutes! Also crushed it. Need to get back out to the gloom G Vegas.
We were just under my 5.5 over/under. And I was even counting on Grandmaster and Cupid to be there. Afterall, Cupid even gave a fist bump on the preblast last night, making me think he’d be there. We would’ve hit the over, but alas, it wasn’t meant to be. Thanks for everyone coming out. Especially for heatstroke making the trip from Rolling Stone! Was an awesome morning and the weather was great!
