10 joined YHC on a surprisingly mild Friday morning for some faith, fitness and fellowship.  Here are the deets:

Mosey to the end of the lot by the tennis courts.

20 Lawn Mowers (20 each arm!)

Single-Arm Overhead Carry to other side of the parking lot.

20 Merkins

Single-Arm Carry with other arm back across the lot.

Repeat the set, decreasing by 2 each time (although always do 20 Merkins)

Announcements:

1. The orphanage is decorating for Christmas December 2 and needs some help.  Check with Wexler.
2. Some upcoming runs: Angels and Sparrows 5K Turkey Trot (Birkdale Village).  Abbington has a sign up about a Turkey Trot but it was too dark last night to get some details. Might be a good one for everyone to do since it’s local.  Quarry Crusher Run benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters, in Concord December 2 (this one’s TOUGH).

Prayer Requests:

1. A couple of PAX have lost their jobs. Keep them in your prayers and keep your eyes and ears open for opportunities.
2. Solocup’s friend who was just diagnosed with testicular cancer. We (somewhat) joke about it because we’re a bunch of guys but it’s something we should all be taking seriously based on our ages (speaking of ages, see my note below).

Moleskin

1. I like this workout.  As Minnow said, it’s set it and forget it. It also allows for a lot of mumble chatter, which is always good for a Friday morning.
2. I was able to PR and get all the way through the 10-rep set! Great way to start the weekend.
3. My 43rd birthday is tomorrow and I was very happy to start it off with you guys. Speaking of ages, I did some quick calculations based on the ages of the 11 PAX today.  The average age is 53. The youngest is 42, oldest is 67, a span of 25 years.  The sum of everyone’s age is 590. That is a lot of life experience out there!
