Seven brave souls took the DRP and weren’t skeered of a little drizzle and bettered themselves this gloom.  All passed the First Responder Training Course, overseen by @Exit54, and are now qualified to use A-B-C rated Fire Extinguishers (not really).

0510 YHC arrives and sets up Cinderblocks for FR Training

Warm-O-Rama
10 Reps each of SSH, LSS, Windmill, Merkins, Mt. Climbers

The Thang
1. 3 rounds of the following: 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, 20 Air Squats, 30 LBC’s – Run around the Island
P/U the six.
2. Mosey to the Loading dock for a round of 5-0 Motivator, lunge walk around the dock.
3. Mosey to the covered area behind the school.  2 rounds of 10 reps of the following:  Dips, Incline Merk’s, Decline Merk’s.
4. Mosey around the rear of the school to the far corner of the parking lot closest to the BBall field.
-We had cinderblocks laid out to represent Fire Extinguishers.  Everyone grabbed a partner.
-P1 does said exercise while P2 took the block and ran it to the first horizontal parking space line.  They run back and switch with P1.
-P2 now does said exercise while P1 runs to the block, picks it up and carries it to the next horizontal parking space line.  P1 runs back and switches spots with P2.
-We kept repeating until each group got their block to the other side of the lot.
-Once at the other side, YHC called a different exercise and each group proceeded to bring their block back to home base using the same routine as above.
Exercises were: American Hammers and LBC’s (effectively completing our MARY).
We all picked up the blocks and mosey’d back to the cars for a little….

Thanks for playing gents!  Glad to see the rain did not deter you from making yourself better.  Great to see @LugNut and @RedTape back out -Keep posting!  @UncleFloyd learned a lesson on what NOT to wear on a rainy BD, @Constitution sporting the new “Trucker Hat” (and no, it does give you cancer-#show2know).  @SSMinnow is #strong, All-The-Time! @GoldRush was the #machoman with the cut-off-sleeves in the rain (I need to introduce him to @TheBody).  @Exit54 confirmed that his shirt was ON when he rushed into that house to put out the FIRE! He told us that his 2024 Fire-person of the year calendar will be coming out just in time for Xmas – $19.95 for a limited time only. Venmo/PayPal Accepted.
