Twelve of F3 MeCa’s swiftest gathered in the humid early morning summer gloom to put in some hillwork and get a little better.  We had some brothers from Afton join us so quick introductions were done, request for restraint was given due to poor air quality, forecast of rain for the next 40 minutes announced, reminder of the “old man” last 5 minute stretch option stated and then 5:30 came so we were off.

The Thang:

40 minutes of running the hills of the Pitchfork with or without the Trident option (see below) and then taking 5 minutes for runner’s stretch.

Strong work and no quit by everyone during this morning’s monsoon with special callout to Oz for hillwork with a ruck sack and to HopHunter for the early start.  YHC actually thinks the rain, despite how hard the downpour was, was well designed by Mother Nature… it didn’t start until after we did, the air quality improved immediately, the temperature and humidity dropped nicely and it stopped just in time for stretch and circle.

If there was a gathering for coffee then sorry to miss it.  YHC didn’t have a change of dry clothes so headed home for a shower to dry off a bit.  Seriously, I was so wet I had to wring out my shirt before getting in my truck and my shoes were sponges.  Someone have the link to the F3 seat cover?
