9 studs of Harrisburg got in a solid 57 minute workout before the sky opened up and the lightening started. If only the soccer officials thought of that…

1. Thanks for joining me and keeping me honest. Part of me misses the good ‘ole days of seeing 20-30 guys post on a Saturday, but then I realize that a group of these 9 men is just as solid. #qualityoverquantity

2. Perfect weather for a workout….until it wasn’t. Not sure why the kids were still out on the field, but the crafty old men timed it perfectly.

3. Not sure how we got off to such a quick start as we were all still reeling from the news that Solo Cup, on occasion and under duress from a less-than-stellar employee, might possibly be a little abrasive…

4. Talladega, Othello and Constitution pulled away quickly during the Monster Mile, but stayed true to the group and came back for the six. Tumbler wasn’t too far behind, while Misfire and Zin gave everything they had to stay in sight. As before, Bear Claw hung back with the slow kids, although still not sure how he pins me for getting sick after a recent workout! Being the givers that we are, Solo Cup and I stayed in back to make sure no one fell out.

5. Quick update: no one fell out.

6. “What are we supposed to be stretching here?”

7. “My hip flexor must be bigger than yours.”

8. Good luck to the young lady in the back room at RRC studying for her medical board. No way she got any studying done while we were there, but I’m sure she’ll do well given the number of empty coffee cups she had.

9. Tclaps to Starsky and his daughter for completing the Tarheel 10 Miler

10. Great job by Solo Cup for filling a community need by recruiting several professional power washers….who all quickly acknowledged they could never do this for a living. Solid 2nd F at Pharr Mill afterwards.

11. Need some Q’s next week. Kojak kicks it off and celebrates his 50th by leading us in The Murph.

Cheers!
