7 HIM’s got up and entered the foggy/misty gloom to make themselves stronger before the weekend ahead. Kudos to @Clueless for the pre-run.
YHC posted a preblast the night before indicating he would have a pack of shuffled “Go-Fish” cards at the ready. Change of plans at the last minute included the use of golf balls to replace the cards. With cinder blocks in position we waited for the Pax to arrive.

The Thang
YHC had a bag of golf balls each with a specific KB exercise written on it. Pax to my right, without looking directly at my balls, grabbed one of my balls out of the bag and read the exercise aloud to the group. The group then did said exercise while that Pax went over to the pair of cinder blocks and performed a “Farmers Carry” from the pavilion to the end of the lot by the Tennis Courts and back. Repeato with the next Pax member to the right.
After everyone had a turn, we modified the farmers carry with an Overhead carry around the pavilion. After that, we went back to Farmers Carry. With three rounds of ball grabs under our our belt, we discontinued the cinder block carry and just finished up selecting the remaining balls.
We had uninterrupted Classic Rock blaring on the speaker and good conversation/mumblechatter throughout the event. #had2show2know (plus, I’m old and can’t remember everything we talked about:)

1. @clueless – strong work on the pre-run and thanks for letting me use your 30lb KB. Unfortunately you had to stick with your 40lb-er #strong No more soccer arms after today!

3. @PapaJohn – You were getting nervous about those cinder blocks but then handled them like a champ!
4. @Bearclaw – You “doublestacked” those cinder blocks on the Farmers Carry – OMG! True RESPECT there, AYE!
5. @Smokey – Lot’s of no-quit over there, always working hard and putting in at least 99%.
6. @Hacksaw – Was the music loud enough? Thanks for offering to boot-leg booze for the Hburg Pax on your next trip to KY. Just give your Credit Card to him and he will get you whatever you want.
7. Thanks to everyone for playing with my balls this morning. Today’s BD was proof you do not have to be good to lead, just lead! Always an honor, hope you had a little fun, mumble-chatter was great!
