Volume
All Rolling Stone BackblastsSeptember 13th, 2021
8 Stoners beat the fartsack after the first Sunday of NFL football to get some volume…from KBs…and YHC’s speaker (while it lasted – with a Manwich style mix.)
Disclaimer and we are off on the traditional warmarama tour of the HT lot.
Return to YHC’s new favorite spot of freshly shorn grass for some more warm up: Prying goblet squats, Slingshots, Halos.
The Thang: 3 parts, plenty of volume
- Simple and Sinister – 100 one armed swings, 10 get ups
- Marathon – 5 minutes, bell doesn’t hit the ground, 6 snatches per minute, REST WITH BELL OVERHEAD.
- 50 reps, all at once – 2 handed swings, L-sits with KB, Goblet Squats, Clean & Press
Mary: Low flutters and LBCs…with KB of course
COT: Happy Hour Thursday, IPC Challenge Week 2 tomorrow, praise for my mom’s recovery from hip replacement, prayers for all of us getting through Covid
Moleskin: Great work boys. I’m enjoying the high volume stuff. It can be fairly brutal regardless of the weight of your bell. If it feels easy, its time to move up, or go for even more volume. Well done by Hot Pack working his 50# KB, his moderate bell. I like how my bluetooth speaker was right next to the place where we charge things in our house and it still only lasted 20 minutes… Manwich thought his Kids Bop mix was better than mine, can’t say I’m so sure about that. Great to see solid crowds on Mondays and Fridays, so much better than 2-4 pax, let’s keep it up! Great work out there by everyone, rest up for IPC tomorrow. Aye!

Solid beatdown! I felt it with my humble 35# KB
