I counted 18 runners out on the Pitchfork this morning but it was really dark out so if I missed you, just let me know.  There was a 58% chance of rain but nothing fell from the sky.  Unfortunately, it was anything but dry as the humidity came prepared.  While I am not a meteorologist, I swear the humidity cranks up when you are going up the hills.

• Adopt A Park Mulch day at Veteran’s Park is coming.  Waiting on the town to tell us when the mulch will be delivered
• Prayers for Banjo Boy’s friend being called back up for Afghanistan as well as all our soldiers and leaders dealing with the current situation
• Prayers for the Wilson family as their mom recently passed due to Covid and left behind two sons
• Prayers for Tumbler’s Brother in Law during his Covid battle
• Prayers for Banjo Boy as he turns to his next chapter in life (a life in the theatre perhaps?)
• Prayers for the kids and teachers going back to school
• Prayers for everyone dealing with Covid
• Unless someone steps up, there will be no Happy Hour this week.

Great work out there this morning!  The humidity is terrible.  The BRR teams were crushing it out there this morning.  Most of them are running up the hills faster than the rest of us were running down them.   FlipPhone gets mad respect for getting out there at 4:30am and running 10 miles worth of hills.  He figured with BRR coming up he had to cram all his training into one morning.  Always great to have the Concord/Afton/Mint Hill guys out there.  We will be taking bets shortly on which BRR team will come out on top!

I am not sure I have ever seen so many guys so wiped out and dripping sweat during COT.  It was a Brutal morning and everyone was pushing maximum effort.  There are only a few more Pitchforks for the year.  While its important to get out to push yourself, its really great to just be out there to support the BRR guys while they are in the home stretch of their training!  I think it really means a lot to them when you say ‘good job’ when they are flying past you up the hills.  All kidding aside, these guys have taken on a monster challenge and busting their butts to get ready for it.  Any support and encouragement you can provide is important.
