13 came out as the weather is still trying to make up its mind which season we are in to honor our fallen heroes through the Murph! Not sure if that is a record, but 13 is by far the most guys I have seen out at the Murph!

We took a moment at COT to reflect on the announcement that the US will be withdrawing troops from Afghanistan. During the 20 years that we have been there, 20,066 Troops have been injured and 2,300 have died including Lt. Mike Murphy. Just think of all that has happened in our lives and how blessed we have all been over the last 20 years when many others were off doing something we can’t even imagine. It really puts things in perspective and reminds us just how amazing these men are. Continue to keep them and their families along with all our troops in your prayers!

We really need guys to step up to Q! We have fallen back into signing up at the last minute or scrambling to fill the week and it ends up being the same guys. This leads to the same workouts and we will all get bored quickly. Something I loved during the No Repeat Q month was just the variety and creativity all of you came up with. I know some are nervous of signing up and then not being able to hold the commitment but you can always reach out to someone at the last minute and switch off. It will also help inspire you to come out more.
Personally, I love Q’ing as I feel it adds a mental workout to the physical one. I also love trying to come up with something that can really challenge everyone. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail but I always view it as a challenge. It is also a small way to give back to an organization that gives a lot to so many people..including you.
Any one can do it and there are many of us who will help you from start to finish. There are not that many workouts per week and if we all took two per month, the calendar would fill up quickly. Gamma is already holding down Every Monday with the Circuit Breaker. We also have to stop SoloCup from doing it every week. He has already done Old Glory, next will be Deconstructing Burpees, and then the dreaded Burpee Mile. None of us want to do that last one!
