Compass Points & SpaceX
The cold gloomy morning showed it’s ugly head this morning. YHC was setting out the “compass points” to act as our makeshift “stations” as the Pax arrived. Starbucks arrived and tried to park in the middle of our workout area…I shooed him onto where normal people park.
At 530 I gave a somewhat OK disclaimer and we did the warm up.
15 SSH – 15 Imperial Walkers – 15 Morracon Night Clubs – 10 Slow Merkins – and then we moseyed the compass.
The prescription was to do 25 reps of KB exercise at each N, S, E, W points and in between each one was the NE, NW, SE, SW points where 5 burpees were enjoyed. When you complete each main compass point – squats for the 6.
We did two rounds and changed it up.
On round 3 choose your own 25 rep KB exercise for main points – 5 WW2’s on the NE, NW, SE, SW points. Then about halfway thru…LOOK! A plane…or maybe UFO…NOPE – Clover set us straight it was SpaceX launching during our workout. (beautiful sight for all who didn’t fart-sack!)
Our last round was a RACE – 10 merkins at each main point – 5 WW2’s at half points – as fast as you can. When all Pax finished we wrapped up with a little People’s Q with KB exercises.
We COT’d & prayed.
