Praise for Carol Grady who is coming home from the hospital today. Prayers for Catfish and his church’s youth group for an upcoming retreat.

Pulled in with 5 min to go and saw only a few cars. Wondered what the turnout would be.
During warmup YHC was able to confirm that it was indeed Finish Line running down Union earlier in the week and noted next time he would get yelled at.
The lot filled up a bit more with 2 min to go… capped off by Ace rolling in on three wheels and El Ab getting his outfit coordinated. Incorrect instructions of where we’d be going were given to Catfish so the six could catch up… but he was able to find the way.
As Tombstone pointed out, with rungs at 10, 15, 25 and 30 my ladder was broke. But I heard enough complaining to know that the workout was effective.
By the time we got back to the church parking lot for ab exercises chatter indicated that the PAX was ready for coffee. When Mountie pointed out nobody was in cadence and Grover yelled out something unspeakable that happened to him in prison … I modified the only way I knew how… more burpees.
The decibel level during stretching back at the AO was probably enough to arouse the neighbors. But Spud only had to tell off once.
The addition of an outdoor heater at Ground Work made the coffeeteria pretty lively. Psycho T and Lex took us play by play through the Panthers Super Bowl loss…. 5 years later and that wound is as fresh as the day it happened. Hops was noticeably quite as he relived his glory days from last year’s Chiefs win with hopes of another this year.
Fire chicken posted a link to a F3 blog post a couple days back. Great read. Really like that an invite to join F3 or encouragement from another PAX is often because they see potential in you that you that you don’t see yourself. Good stuff!!!
