The 12×12 Days of Highlands Mettle Christmas
All BackBlasts BackblastsDecember 21st, 2020
YHC put a feeler out on Slack yesterday and snatched the Q before any of the digital HC’s were posted. HC’s were made by @Man Down and @Snowsuit, with the additional Slack-popular VSC by @Sandbag.
The SUG & Tweet said it all: How About Another 12 Days of Christmas Theme, Kettlebell style?
The aforementioned PAX, plus @Overdraft, decided to open up Christmas Week with some heavy Mettle. This beatdown was going to vaguely resemble a 12 Days of Christmas theme…only with no music and no ascending of reps. Some could even say it was quite similar to my 11×11 KB Beatdown…only a little different.

MOLESKIN:
- Let’s be honest: it doesn’t matter what the exercise is actually called, as long as the demonstration is correct.
- Proper social distancing was easily followed, but a strong reminder was posted by @Poutine yesterday on Slack.
- Congrats to @Snowsuit on his 150th post, meeting his goal for 2020. Aye!
- Prayers included, but not limited to: Fallen Officer Jason Shuping, his family, and all those who protect and serve; Frontline health workers and first responders, who put the health and safety of others first before their own.
- As we open Christmas week, let’s pray people make safe, smart decisions; our decisions don’t only impact our households. A lot of folks are having to make difficult choices to not see family or travel, so please be with them this Holiday.
- Check Slack for @Disaster’s post about Hope Street Food Pantry. Another opportunity to donate items or funds tomorrow.
- It is always an honor to lead this group.
