All Harrisburg Backblasts

December 5th, 2020 By Kojak

10 other ‘Burgers decided to take advantage of a mild morning and join YHC at The Railyard.  We are very lucky that the renovation of Harrisburg Park is mostly done so the PAX would have so many options available to them.  YHC wanted to keep the PAX moving and cover as much ground as we could.  Hopefully YHC didn’t disappoint.  The clock hit 0700 so off we went.  It went something like this……

WARM-UP

SSH x 15

Penny Pickers x 15

10 Mountain climbers after each

IST x 15

Toy soldiers x 15

10 Merkins after each

Windmills x 15

Arm circles

10 slow squats after each

THE THANG

The PAX was given a tour of the three workout points during the warm-up and an instruction sheet was left at the launch point(the upper shelter).  The PAX would do two rounds of each exercise at the different points and run back to the launch point before heading to the next point.  The PAX would keep moving until approximately 0755.

Launch point:  10 jumpups and burpees

Post office shelter:  20 dips and derkins

The Hill:  20 WWIIs at the bottom and 20 shoulder taps at the top

Winding Path:  20 jump squats at the bottom and 20 heels to Heaven at the top

MOLESKIN

–The temps were kind of in that in between area so guys were in all different types of layers but lots of layers were shedded by the end.  Guys were getting after it the entire time.

–Exit 54 with the quote of the morning right before his 4th or 5th round of burpees: “oh great more burpees”.  I knew he wouldn’t have been satisfied without them.

–Glad that DT was able to drag Caveman from the Fartsack or else he would have missed out on the fun.

–YHC wasn’t aware that Bigbird owned a vehicle since he always runs to the Ridge.  It’s not much farther to The Railyard……

–Good to see Sheepdog sticking around even with the cooler temps coming back.

–YHC didn’t see Solocup much during the beat down so can only speculate on his form.

–CPap recently joined the Respect club but hasn’t slowed down at all.  It’s easy when you’ve got a fellow Respecter like Mullet still out there tearing it up.

–Dr Lecter put in some good work so he can go home and relax and watch his Catamounts get trounced.  Go Heels!!!

–Good to see Bonvoy finishing out the week strong.  Hopefully the variety was to his satisfaction.
