The month of October has been designated as a big fundraising month for the F3 Foundation, and they are making a push through their #give2give initiative.

We at MeCa should be in the business of helping grow the F3 Foundation, as it can be a useful tool for helping invigorate male community leadership. The purpose of the foundation is to “leverage the men of F3 Nation to develop and strengthen male community leadership in our communities.”

With the recent restructuring of F3, the Foundation is breaking away from F3 Nation and is looking to establish itself independently, with a professional director and bonafide portfolio. That is where the #give2give initiative will begin, by helping jumpstart the general fund.

From that fund, the Foundation will process grants for various Pax and their community projects, as well as fund things like the Truebadore Program, which helps send out experienced Pax to regions to help grow them.

YHC set up a F3 MeCa team page and set a $2500 goal. I’m hopeful the Pax of MeCa will show me that I was too modest in the my goal-setting and blow that out of the water.
