Seven Lefts
All Harrisburg BackblastsMarch 11th, 2020
14 men and three dogs hit the mean streets of Rocky River Crossing subdivision. With paces ranging from a a 64 year old running phenomenon (who shall remain nameless) to a #kotter on the mend, we concocted a route to keep everyone moving yet in the same vicinity at all times….
Leave Town Center, north on Roberta, left onto Rocky River Crossing Road. From end-to-end, there are seven left turns. Take every left to the end of that street, then back to RRC, then continue to the next. Once you hit Morehead, turn around and head straight back to Town Center. To stay together, the slower runners turned around every time the leaders came back up the street, and the walkers/ruckers headed straight up RRC and back. Total distance in 45 minutes ranged from 2.6 to 5.5 miles.

1. Thanks for playing along. It was great to continually pass/see guys faster or slower than you without having to break pace. Headlamps flying in all directions!
2. Good to see some old faces back out in the gloom. Hope to see you back again soon.
3. Tclaps to those who got a few extra miles before the main event, and certainly to the usual speedsters…but of course I’m biased and have to give a special shout out to the Clydesdales. HoneyDo is as fast as I’ve ever seen him. Starsky and I have shaved about a minute off our 5mile pace and Dr.Lechter turned on the jets to stay with SSMinnow the last mile or so (ok, so maybe Lechter’s not a full-fledged Clydesdale, but close enough).
4. Flip Phone has the Q tomorrow at The Ridge. Escalade as the Q Friday at kettlebells, along with the Dawghouse anniversary workout option over at Jay M Robinson HS.
Pax tibi,
