Thank goodness for the Passporters

All Harrisburg Backblasts

March 9th, 2020 By Kojak

There was talk on the Slack Passport Challenge page about some passporters heading to the Speedway for some White Lightnin’.  YHC felt some pressure to make it worth their while to make the trek for their stamp.  By the time the clock hit 0530 5 passporters were primed and ready to go (they outnumbered the 3 area PAX, the fartsack must’ve been strong today).  We began to mosey and things went like this……

WARM-UP

–SSH x 20

–Windmills x 15

–Hillbillies x 20

–10 Merkins OYO between each

THE THANG

Partner up and start under the Morehead Rd bridge.  Partners would do the following exercise and reps under the bridge and then split up and run in opposite directions to the top of the bridge at the gates at Morehead Rd.  The partners would do the following exercises and reps and then meet back under the bridge to continue until done.  Plank up when done.

Under the bridge:  Pattycake Merkins 10-20-30

Top of the bridge:  Flutter kicks and Bobby Hurleys 10-20-30

Hill work:  Start at the bottom of the hill with 5 CDD’s and WWII’s.  Continue to the top of the hill with the exercises and then over to the other side.  Repeat back to the start point.  Rep count was 5-10-15-10-5.

Indian run back toward the cars.

Death by burpees:  Start with 1 burpee, 4 lunge walks, 2 burpees, 4 lunge walks, and continue until time is called by Q.  PAX did approximately 5 minutes of this.

Count-off and Name-a-rama

PRAYERS

–For YHC’s mother-in-law’s surgery this Thursday

MOLESKIN

–Great to have some Passporters visiting this morning.  YHC could tell because they’re a little more cautious pulling into the lot.  Dutch Boy said he was kind of hesitant due to Rerun’s patrol vehicle sitting in the lot.  The PAX was well protected today.

–Snowsuit had mentioned on Slack that he wasn’t much of a runner but didn’t have any problems this morning.  Strong work!!!

–DT was killing it this morning and seemed to have an extra kick in his step.

–Dutch Boy was promised burpees so hoped the burpee finisher was enough for him.  Looked like he was ready for a couple hundred Welsh Dragons.

–Bonvoy and Luigi breezed through the partner work.  Great job guys!!!

–Rerun is back in top form and YHC was just trying to keep up with him.
