11 men gathered under the Library portico and got better with a deck of cards. Reps were as follows: 10 + the card number for numbered cards, 25 reps for face cards, and 100 reps for aces.

The dealer stacked the first few cards in the deck for a warmup, then we were in for whatever the deck gave us. Here’s how it went.

My goal was for us to make it through the whole deck, but we came 3 cards short. As Clueless helpfully pointed out, that’s an error by the Q. Aye. Here’s what we missed.

• 12 Bulgarian split squats
• Backward run to end of median & back

Even with “only” 49 cards completed, nobody felt they didn’t get their money’s worth.

• Great effort by everyone. This was a smoker, especially with so many varieties of merkins in there.
• T-Claps to Espresso & Pancake (Clueless’s 2.0s) for putting in a lot of good work. Can’t go wrong with Clueless’ advice I overheard a couple times: “It’s about quality, not quantity.”
• Welcome to Slick Willie, FNG Brian Woodward, for coming out & earning his name. He grew up in Arkansas and his demeanor seemed Presidential, so I think the name fits.
• Prayers for Metro Dog’s 2.0 who is recovering from ACL surgery.
