The morning after a late-night World Series elimination game 6, and with the threat of rain, I was not sure how many would post. But good crowd. 14 showed. This is how it went

If moving to Concord and posting with the F3 PAX here is like moving high schools, then Qing for the first time is like giving a speech in freshman English. You go in just hoping your voice doesn’t crack.
Who knew an exercise reference to the NCAA all time assists leader, Bobby Hurley, would be the highlight!
I guess after 1 month of posting here, I should be aware that any ACC sports reference between 1980 to present day will carry an emotional connection to someone. I think half the PAX represent UNC, State, Clemson, or VT.
I know for sure now that Catfish does not like Duke… and especially does not like Bobby H. I did learn that Hurley. had his own shoe. The “ITZ… In the Zone”. Not sure how I missed this.
I googled it. The ad is classic early 90’s. Great tag line too… “Players are made on the court, heroes are made in the zone.”
Sports talk aside, thank you for the opportunity to Q. Having a F3 group to plug into here has been clutch with all the stressers of a move on the family and me. I always know my day will be better when I post. There is no better way to kick off than with a beat down and coffeteria.
