After more than a month of 2 CSUAPs, tapering, training, recovering – YHC answered call and Qed today’s workout. Here’s what went down…

7 showed – including Chachi wearing a ruck. DISCLAIMER and we’re off! Jiffy made a sudden appearance midrun making it 8.

Here’s the route the runners took. YHC didn’t turn the watch off until COT so the pacing is wrong…we were never less than 9:30.

COT

Quick safety moment: If you’re fast – before you hit an intersection or turn check back and loop around to the six if you’re not within hollerin’ distance. Statistically, it’s for your safety more than anyone else’s. The most common fatal injury on runs is getting hit by a car and the guy up front is most likely to encounter that. Keeping together as a group makes us conspicuous. Also, you get more distance.

Moleskin:

It’s great to be back in the gloom. CSUAPs give us targets to aim for and I’m happy to have the patches, stories, etc.; but the grind is what changes us.

I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. – Psalm 119:45
