10 stalwart pax annihilated the fartsack to kickoff Spring break 2019 Rolling Stone style. weather was perfect, 0530 hit, rambling disclaimer to wait for MC as he squealed some tires pulling into his parking spot in reverse. Never knew you could do that! Off we went into the gloom for my first Weinkeless, nonWIB, nonhungover Q.

The Thang–Tour de AO

Mosey from rock to corner of Marquette and head down to the cul-de-sac stopping at each light post for:

• 5 Merkins, 5 Air Squats, 10 Merkins, 10 Air Squats, 15 Merkins–only 5 light posts but MC started out the gait hot and decided 15 air squats in the cul-de-sac was in order. Excellent idea as balance between the upper and lower body exercises was maintained.
• Mosey down the the bottom of the Marquette hill on the green way for some ladder action. 10:1 ladder starting with jumping air squats at the bottom and merkins at the top of the hill. Pax appeared to be creeping further down the hill to perform the Merkins as the ladder progressed. I’m sure it was to ensure the neighbors would not be disturbed. Very thoughtful. 10 trips up that hill will take its toll. STRAVA enthusiasts will recognize that as “Get To The Choppa!” hill. such a classic Arnold movie

• veteran 10 count by Manwich and we moved on for twisting lunge walk x 15. Not sure if we all have some balance issues, inner ear problems, or the hill made our quds gelatinous but these are harder than first glance. good way to get some core with a lower body exercise. they will be back.
• Mosey down to the Rolling Stone “Gimme Shelter” shelter on the greenway for some partner work. Flood waters from the weekend have subsided so a dry beatdown was guaranteed.

P1 exercise as P2 runs to the near side of the bridge over troubled waters and returns to switch until exercise total is complete

• 50 dips on shelter table
• 50 Derkins on shelter table
• 100 Mountain climbers
• Mosey back to AO with pit stop after long bridge to catch up the 6 and get 20 LBCs IC
• jail break at 3rd greenway sign to top of sidewalk. Pax thought they had gotten their money’s worth, but like an good infomercial, “but wait there’s more”  Monkey Humpers x 15 IC with some decent traffic to boot. Return to AO for Mary
