Rolling Stone at El Conquistador

2 of RS’s finest, YHQ, and a well conditioned FNG descended into Tuscon AZ last night and promptly forwent fartsacking for an early morning mosey through the dark grounds of the El Conquistador resort. After a disclaimer, the Pax confirmed with one another and all realized they arrived last evening in the gloom and had no good intel on the AO; after a quick check of a google maps, the Pax set off for a parking lot a bit away from the main complex. Arriving at a surprisingly well lit area, it went like this:
- COP Warm-o-rama: SSH, Tempo Merkins, Plank Jacks, cotton pickers, WLAS, seal jacks, IST, smurf jacks, arm circles, towel twist
- 7:1 Hand release merkin-Air Squat ladder running between ~6 lights (probably about 50 meters one way)
- Tabata Mash 1: Rocky Balboas / Tuck-ups
- Tabata Mash 2: Rocky Balboas / CDD
- Mosey around the entire parking lot stopping at every light for an exercise: 5 SSH (left light), 5 Air Squats (Right light): total of about 100 of each (~40 lights total)
- Mosey to conference center to find a nice set of stairs:
- Run up stairs, 10 LBCs, Down Stairs, 10 Mason Twists: REPETO, REPETO
- Find some wall: 10 wall muscle ups, 10 dips: REPETO, REPETO
- Mary: Preztel crunch, low dolly, Rosalita, W
Moleskin:
- Great to have F3 brothers to hold me accountable on work travel – great way to work off that 5 hrs in a plane, welcome FNG Brian – that cross-fit training is doing you well brother
- I’m glad there were no cactus injured in the making of today’s workout, we played it safe and stuck to the mostly lighted area – we’ll see how adventurous KW is tomorrow with his lead and a headlamp
