Challenge Patch Program: The Red Pill Challenge
Introducing the F3 MECA Winter 2019 Challenge: The Red Pill Challenge. This challenge is designed to encourage pax to increase their number of posts through the colder winter months. Historically, many AOs have seen a decline in posts as the warmth of the fartsack becomes ever more inviting and the temperatures outside ever more discouraging. But we all still need our daily red pill, the daily commitment to accelerate our Fitness, Fellowship and Faith. To complete the Red Pill Challenge, pax will have 60 days (not counting Sundays) to post a minimum of 30 times, or 3 times per week over 10 weeks. However, this challenge will be scale-able. For some, 3 posts per week will be an increase in posts, but for those who already post 3 or more times per week, we encourage you to pledge yourself to more at the start of the challenge. This is, after all, supposed to be a challenge.
Here are the details:
Qualifications: Complete the number of posts pledged (minimum 30) within 60 days from the start date (not including Sundays). Only on-the-books workouts with backblasts count. Hold your Qs accountable for writing the backblasts, or better yet, Q yourself. The Gremlin counts as 3 posts!
Start Date: January 14th.
End Date: March 23rd.
Buy-in: $10 (no refunds).
Sign-up: Send your $10 buy-in via Paypal to paypal.me/JustinReimers or via Zelle to email@example.com. Put the following in the comment box:
- Red Pill Challenge.
- F3 Name.
- F3 AO.
- Email Address.
Proceeds Go To: The F3MECA Fund and it’s beneficiaries.
Accountability: We will provide access to a spreadsheet for tracking progress and add pax to a Slack channel so we can encourage or heckle each other.
Finishers: All finishers will receive a Red Pill Challenge finishers patch.
Special thanks to Heatstroke for the idea!
*Note that there will be no refunds, and only finishers will receive a patch.*
The purpose of the Challenge Patch Program is to raise funds for the F3MECA Fund while simultaneously encouraging pax to push themselves to higher levels of each F (Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith) and leadership by offering achievable challenges in each, the completion of which will be recognized with a Challenge Patch.
