Preparing for 2019

5 Stoners and one FNG decided to cap off their 2018 with a final bell buster workout.  In preparation for 2019 and some skiing in the Pox household (both of the downhill and cross-county variety), we kept it simple and focused mainly on legs and quads; after a disclaimer we moseyed around the parking lot and it went like this:

COP Warm-o-rama (IC): SSH, Merkins, plank jacks, toe touches, CDD, cotton pickers, smurf jacks, wide leg squats, variety of arm and shoulder stretches

TABATA: 20 seconds work 10 seconds rest, 8 sets = 4 min on Pox’s timer – for some we did only one exercise the whole time, for others we alternated between two exercises:

  • Apollo Ohnos / single leg toe touches with leg extension (better name please)
  • KB swings (American or Russian)
  • SDLHP
  • Chest press / Ws
  • Handstands on wall / Shoulder Press
  • Tricep extensions / curls

Abreviated Mary with bell: Mason twist x 20, LBC x 20, REPETO for 10 more of each

Moleskin

  • Didn’t let a little rain get in our way of a nice little workout
  • Welcome to TomTom visiting from out of town, most of use would have given up when we went to the other CBA on Poplar Tent, but not TomTom – mucho respecto and thank you for your service
  • Great to be out again after almost 2 months out; looking forward to a lot more time in the gloom in 2019 for Pox and GB
  • Note: sparknut joined us for the COT to close out the year, thanks for all you do in letting us use CBA
