Organized Team Activities
With the draft behind us and OTAs ramping up, 11 would-be starters reported to the Sports Junction. Seven receivers took off for conditioning, leaving four linemen to limber up.
Started with a quick warm-up – high knees, butt kickers, arm circles, etc.
Then on to some core work:
5 5-count Mericans (5-count going down, then 5-count back up)
5 5-count Air Squats
5 5-Count WWII Sit-ups
All the usual stretches…hitting shoulders, back, hips, quads, glutes, hamstrings, calves, etc., with some Mericans thrown in for good measure.
COT with the receivers
1. Thanks for joining me this morning. When Clueless put on his reflective vest and Gapper showed up with a “Born to Run” shirt, I was afraid I’d be stretching alone.
2. Pro-tip: if you want to control what you do at any workout, sign-up to Q it.
3. Interesting attempts by all at the 5-count WWII sit-ups. The count sped up quickly at 3 and 4.
4. Remember Wings of Eagles service day this weekend. Check Slack or contact SSMinnow for details.
