It was one of those mornings…

All Harrisburg Backblasts

April 13th, 2018 By Exit54

Three PAX shook off various ailments and brought a measured but unwavering resolve to today’s Hillbilly…

THE THANG:

Run to the end of Snow, turn around and run back to the pool

Tabata Stations:

  1. Hammer Curls
  2. Merkens
  3. Upright Rows

MOLESKINE:

Your Q was not feeling good at 5am this morning.  Perhaps it was the pollen allergies, perhaps it was work stress, perhaps it was from partying a little too hard at our SpeedForNeed training session last night.  Whatever it was, I gave serious thought to calling in sick this morning.  When I got down to the AO, I was the only there at 0526, and definitely started counting down the minutes to when I could head home and get back in bed.  Then came one card around the corner, and then one more a few seconds later.  Oh well, who hasn’t Q’d a workout where they felt less than 100% before?

Fast forward to 0615 and I felt significantly better.  Fresh air in my lungs and blood pumping in my veins turned everything around for me this morning.  Big thanks to @Bearclaw and @Secret for showing up this morning, so I didn’t shut it down.

Hope to see all of you at the Harrisburg 5K tomorrow.

And good luck to @Secret, @Deuce and the rest of the Smoky Mountain Relay team – I likely won’t see you guys before you leave town next week.
