Purple Rain, Purple Rain

All Harrisburg Backblasts

March 30th, 2018 By Exit54

Five PAX tackled the Hills of Bradford Park… two PAX had enough mettle to do repeats…

THE THANG:

All you got to the end of Snow, turn around and run back to the start… (except for the Smoky Mtn Relay runners who decided to stay out there and do repeats of Naron and Snow hills… I’d like to see the elevation gain per mile on that one…)

Tabata Station:

  1. Upright Rows w/ 35 lb bell
  2. Tricep Extensions w/ 35 lb bell
  3. Hammer Curls w/ two 15 lb bells
  4. Straight-Arm Planks

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

MOLESKINE:

A very rainy morning today… one of those days where you question your decision to red pill at Hillbilly rather than one of those other rain sheltered-AOs.  Fortunately Spring is in the air, and the rain wasn’t nearly enough to deter this crowd.  T-claps to @Ito who keeps posting on Fridays and keeps making progress – he also brought some knowledge about sanctuary cities and homelessness to our Tabata circle this morning.  And to @Flip Phone and myself who made work of the hills, despite our questionable health.

And major T-claps to the Smoky Mtn Relay runners (@Deuce and @Secret), who stayed out on the course and ran repeats of the Snow Hill and the Naron Hill.  Sorta like running Pitchfork – but worse.  And they claim they’re hitting Pitchfork tonight, then Morrow Mountain in the morning.  Good luck to you guys – that’s definitely not for the faint of heart.

Please continue to keep @Wexler’s mom, @Posh’s dad and @Ito’s dad in your prayers.
