Hard to count when it’s 10 Degrees-Brain Freeze!

All East Charlotte Backblasts

January 5th, 2018 By Othello

Six manly men ventured out in the 10 degree gloom to show their man-card.  No one got out of their cars until 0525, next thing you know it’s GO time – here is how it went:

Gentleman’s Mosey with KB’s to the basketball area by the tennis courts (That’s right, the area without a basketball net, go figure).  Place KB’s on one side in a line and circle-up in the middle for a little warm-up like this:

Warm-up
SSH x15 (x denotes cadence)
MC’s x15
Slow count Merkins x5
Windmill x10
IST x15

The Thang
Line up by your bells for couple of “ladder” rounds. 10-8-6-4-2

Round 1 – KB drag to opposite side, 10 alt KB Merkins, Drag bell back to other side.  Repeato to end.
Round 2 – Bicep Curls, run to other side, Jump Squat 180 ladder
Round 3 – Tricep Ext, Lunge to other side, Goblet squat ladder
Round 4 – Lawn Mowers, run to other side, WWII “cruisers” (#gottoshowtoknow)
Round 5 – C&P, run to other side, Grandpa Jack ladder

Circle-up for 10, 8-count (I use the word “count” very loosely here) Man-Makers.

Gather bells, Gentleman’s mosy back to cars, circle-up

1.  Cold air, frozen lips and tounge do not make for good counting, just say’n.
2.  @Chum – “Beard crack”?  At least you can grow a beard!! Look at this way, you have a ready supply of snot-water to keep you refreshed during the workout!!
3.  @Toughskins – Sorry for “counting” too fast during the man-makers, maybe FIA will do them slower for you.
4.  @H&S – thanks for posting brother!  Condolences for your friend, Dan, who passed. Prayers going out!
5.  @Blackout – strong work my friend!  Lot’s of “no quit” over there, even if your mumble chatter indicated otherwise.
6.  @Hugo – RESPECT! You always show us how it’s done!
