The Lone Stoner
All Rolling Stone BackblastsDecember 28th, 2017
0524 the flag is planted; 0526 doing some stretching, still no other Pax; 0528 a large GM SUV turns onto Moss Farm. Is it Life Alert?…nope. 0531 YHC is still alone. Was it something I said? Wheelbarrows, partner pull-ups, 21 deg? Were the Pax afraid of another Sparknut beat down… too hard? …too easy? Oh well. As it turned out, it only got down to a mild 24 degrees with gentle 5 mph winter breeze, as opposed to the predicted 21 degrees. I issued a disclaimer to myself or maybe not and…

- On the real: One of the greatest things about F3 is the comradery, of which there was none this morning. I don’t mind a solo work out from time to time as evidenced by my occasional long runs, but my general consistency is largely dependent on accountability and encouragement I receive from my F3 brothers. We need each other. Also, you miss out when you fartsack the tough ones. There’s this strange thing about the way God made men. We develop the deepest bonds and enjoy the greatest satisfaction when suffer through adversity together. So don’t rob yourself by skipping these cold ones. Yep, it’s hard, but we’re not here for easy.
1 John 1:8-10 8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
…hope you got your money’s worth!

Was there miscellaneous clapping during CPs? 🙂
Way to step up Sparknut and perform the workout and write the BB…solid!
Haha – another disadvantage to solo beat down…I couldn’t keep count and provide awkward clapping simultaneously.
Thanks for the props!
