The one Hammer tried to steal
All Comanche BackblastsNovember 6th, 2017
5 men came together for a fairly straight-forward skedaddle. YHC agreed on Friday to take the Q and signed up yesterday morning. Hammer apparently thought that wasn’t good enough and and tried to take over a few hours later with the following post on slack:
“I miss my #comanche brethren! So help a brother out. Come to skedaddle tomorrow. It’ll be a little different. We will do very short runs with pain stations along the way. No PAX left behind. See you there.”
Naturally I questioned this thinking this guy was trying a hostile takeover or something. Hammer quickly realized the error of his ways and backed down.
Here’s the route: https://footpathapp.com/routes/dc72394355e64b3b81051ebc1329c2f0
Runners had a chance at doing 2, 3, or 4 miles. Apparently it still scared some people off. Where are all the pax who asked for shorter routes until they could do 4? Only way you’ll get better is if you actually show up.
Hammer tried another crazy move right at the beginning, questioning YHC on the route and if the distance was accurate. I assured him everything would be fine and he fell right back into place again!
All runners did 4 today. @Chicken Coop said he was going to just do 2, but once we all stayed together he relented and ran a full 4. Good work brother.
